No cooling is required for extremely hard porcelain tiles with a Mohs/Ritz hardness of 9 and for glass and porcelain. This product is not suitable for impact drilling and has no problems with tapping. It features a centre point for precise hole placement, a patented carbide insert and a conically embedded cutting insert for increased break resistance and stability. The shortened neck reduces torsional forces, minimises spring and vibration and increases tool life. The unique non-slip shank prevents rotation in the drill chuck and ensures optimum torque transmission. This set includes a professional concrete drill bit for reworking holes after tile drilling in masonry.
