The 4-20 mAmp signal converter is used to integrate the sensorProbe with a 4-20 mAmp transmitter. The 4-20 mAmp technology is employed to transmit analog signals over long distances, where electrical interference can be an issue. This solution is commonly used in the process control industry to capture the analog values from a variety of remote sensors. Current signals are much less susceptible to interference than voltage signals. A voltage signal can be converted into current and then transmitted over a long distance before being converted back into voltage and read by the sensorProbe. 4-20 mAmp transmitters are commonly used in the industry with high-quality sensors. With the 4-20 mAmp converter, these sensors can now be integrated into the sensorProbe, enhancing their value by adding charts, a web interface, an email interface, thresholds, and limits. Suitable for: SP1+ Basic, SP1+ Professional, SP2+ Basic, SP2+ Professional, SP2+ Basic LCD, SP2+ Professional LCD. Package includes: AKCP - VC40.
