Monitor the physical environment and be notified of incidents such as unauthorized intruders, security breaches, high temperatures, smoke, water intrusion, power outages, and more. The SEC5ES-X20 is compatible with AKCP's intelligent sensors and provides a complete environmental, access control, and security solution for up to 500 connected sensors. The securityProbe 5ES-X20 combines all the advantages of the securityProbe 5ES but also has 20 two-wire dry contact inputs. It is built into a 1U rack-mounted box. An additional 2 gigabyte SD card can be installed to provide greater storage capacity. An internal GSM mobile modem is available as an option for sites with unreliable network connections.

The device is TCP/IP compatible and runs with Lighttpd web server including HTTPS (SSL), Bash, Perl, Telnet, PHP, email, and Nagios. The SEC5ES-X20 has an easy-to-use, web-based user interface for sensor configuration, data logging, and graphing. It supports SNMP v3 with full encryption. The securityProbe 5ES-X20 also supports Modbus Master/Slave, Modbus RTU, and Modbus over TCP/IP, creating a unique, easy-to-configure Modbus SNMP gateway. The web-based interface is written in PHP and allows the end user to make changes such as language translation. The SEC5ES-X20 has a battery-powered time-of-day clock for accurate logging.

The securityProbe 5ES-X20 integrates and displays graphs of all sensor data in its web-based user interface. The individual graph (day, week, month, and year) for each sensor type can be customized by simply changing the script template used to create a particular graph. The RRD tool is used to create an embedded database of sensor data, which can be accessed via the web interface or downloaded to a remote PC. MRTG can be used to create real-time graphs of sensor data on a remote website.
