SensorProbeX+ Expansion Architecture

Each SPX+ features both EXP (Expansion) and BEB (Basic Expansion Bus) connections. These expansion ports allow you to enhance your base device with additional functionalities, enabling your system to grow with your needs.

Basic Expansion Bus (BEB)

BEB is suitable for short-distance expansion within your control cabinet. Expand your system with additional SPX+ BEB remote units. You can chain the expansion units up to a maximum of 20 meters for the entire chain. SPX+ BEB remote units are a cost-effective expansion option when placing the unit in the same or an adjacent cabinet.

4x BEB - Max. total cable length 10 meters
3x BEB - Max. total cable length 18 meters (3x 6m)
2x BEB - Max. total length 20 meters (2x 10m)
1x BEB - Max. total length 20 meters (1x 20m)

The SPX+ can be individually configured due to its modular design. The individual modules allow the SPX+ to be tailored precisely to your application and equipped with the desired specifications. Expand the standard configurations with the modules to add the desired number of ports, I/O contacts, or special features like PoE, RAD, and much more.
