AKCP E-Sensor8 - Extension module, 8 ports

The E-Sensor8 is an expansion module with 8 intelligent RJ-45 sensor connections, which connects to one of the 4 RJ-45 expansion ports on the front of the securityProbe 5E base units. The connection is made using a standard CAT5 LAN cable. The E-Sensor8 can also be daisy-chained through the E-Out/E-In ports of other expansion cards. It is available in a 1U rack version with standard rack mounts or in a short DIN rail version. The product code for this version is E-IS8N-DIN.

Complete connectivity: Any sensor from AKCP's full line of intelligent sensors can be connected to the intelligent sensor ports on the back of the device. 16 LEDs on the front indicate the status of each sensor, with 8 red for status and 8 green for online. The expansion boards can be linked together via the input (E-in) and output (E-out) ports of the device. Again, these are RJ-45 ports connected with a standard CAT5 cable. These E-boards can be extended from the securityProbe 5E base unit or from each other up to 300 meters, or approximately 1000 feet.
