Product details
The Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7 is a window sensor that accurately detects whether your window is open, closed, or tilted, with a tilt angle of at least 5° required. It can be easily retrofitted onto the window. Additionally, with the Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7, you can integrate other binary sensors, such as NTC contacts, microswitches, or flood sensors into your Z-Wave system. Thanks to its sleek design, the Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7 can be discreetly installed on any window. The sensor is simply mounted on the window frame. A small magnet is also installed near the sensor on the window frame. With the potential-free input of the Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7, it is possible to incorporate other sensors into your Z-Wave system. The binary sensors are connected to the potential-free input of the sensor. In addition to sensors, buttons can also be connected there to trigger a scene in the Z-Wave hub, for example. If your Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7 ever fails, the core component - the circuit board - can be easily replaced without removing the sensor. This allows you to leave the device attached to the window frame and only replace the circuit board.
