The same Butterfly "V3" large with a special compression spring as in 172511, but in a short shell. Since the entire mechanism is identical to 172511, the load capacity is also the same, but with a more compact appearance, allowing for use in smaller cases with flat lids.
Our V3, V4, and V5 Butterflies feature a patented spring mechanism that lifts the closing hook when opening and guides it out of the latch. When closing, the closing hook is precisely guided back into the latch. This allows for optimal operability and minimizes the risk of injuries and damage.
