The Abus FOS550 window rod lock is a high-security additional lock with two sturdy locking points, one at the top and one at the bottom. The locking system offers extremely high resistance to pressure loads and lever attacks. Due to its particularly slim design, the FOS550 can be used universally, meaning it can be installed on the handle side of windows and window doors made of aluminum, wood, or plastic, including most double-wing windows with and without a center post. The window additional lock is operated using a lockable window handle: when the window is closed, the locking rods are also extended.
