The special double-capsule design helps minimize resonance effects. These Optime hearing protection attachments provide excellent high-frequency attenuation, particularly for sounds dominated by low frequencies. These are typical for specific applications where extreme noise levels occur. Typical applications include power plants, mining operations, airports, engine rooms, printing, cement production, and industrial enterprises. This passive Peltor Optime III hearing protection has CE certification according to EN 352-1:1993 and offers an SNR (Single Number Rating) of 35 decibels (dB) for protection against extremely high noise levels.
