The 3M Peltor X5 earmuffs are color-coded black, making it easy to select the right protection levels from the X series. Our earmuffs combine 3M's widely recognized expertise in hearing protection products with advanced technology and feature specially designed foam in the earplugs and ear cushions, along with an innovative design of spacers and cups. This allows the 3M Peltor X Series X5 earmuffs to provide the highest attenuation on the market, reducing noise by up to 37 dB. Despite the larger cups, the earmuffs are lightweight thanks to the technology used in their development, offering excellent balance and comfort. The double headband design not only reduces heat buildup but also provides a good fit and balance. The plastic-coated stainless steel wire makes the headband the most robust that 3M offers while being electrically insulated. It is both strong and comfortable, as the flat, wide headband has a soft plastic coating that exerts stable pressure on the head. Carefully shaped sliders ensure that the earmuffs can be easily adjusted on the head. Wide, soft foam cushions ensure that employees feel comfortable, while the narrow cups provide improved compatibility with other safety equipment.
