Robust, tear-resistant, and yet lightweight: This durable 3M protective suit 45203XL Type 5/6 is made from a five-layer, antistatically treated material (SMMMS). The high water vapor permeability of the suit reduces heat buildup and provides the wearer with a good, comfortable feeling—even during strenuous physical activity. Elastic inserts at the hips, ankles, and wrists ensure a pleasant wearing experience and improved freedom of movement. The two-way zipper with a cover flap offers additional protection. The suit features antistatic treatment on both sides (EN 1149-5:2008) and is low-lint due to its special material. The 3M protective suit 4520 Type 5/6 provides protection against health-threatening dusts (Type 5), light liquid splashes (Type 6), and radioactive contaminated particles (EN 1073-2:2002). Its applications include asbestos inspection, insulation work, asbestos disposal, cement manufacturing, grinding and polishing, light industrial cleaning, machine maintenance, and work in the pharmaceutical industry.
