Hello @Markgreute no Unfortunately not only 4k 30Hz. This adapter: i-tec USB C to (HDMI) supports 4k 60Hz.
Unfortunately, the USB-C port only works for charging!
This small docking station works with any laptop with a USB-C port, which can output a video signal via this port (DP-Alt mode).
This docking solution also works with a non-Apple product that has USB-C and allows charging via USB-C.

I had the bug with the wireless mouse with various USB-C hubs, even with dedicated Thunderbolt 3 docking stations. The solution that worked for all of them was a USB extension cable that moved the receiver (Logi Unify for me) away from the hub. I read about this on some forum and I'm flabbergasted at how well it works. I currently have a 2m extension cable (I didn't have another one) plugged into an Anker USB hub, which is plugged into one of the slots of the USB-C hub. The USB-C hub also has a power cable, HDMI and occasionally other USB devices. Never had any problems with delays, interruptions, etc. again.
It doesn't charge the notebook by itself. You can plug a charger into the usb C port of the Satechi like you would do by connecting the cable directly on the port of the notebook. It passes the power to the notebook up to 60W.

The Raspi is very finicky when it comes to the Power Supply. USB 3.0 per Specification only supplies 900mA. Some Suppliers deliver up to 1.5 A via USB 3.0 but that's it. None of these single USB-C Docks provides enough power via USB 3.0 without a separate Power Supply. A Thunderbolt-Dock provides 15 W via USB-C/Thunderbolt-Ports but comes with its own Power Brick.

In our household, we use the adapter for a Surface Pro 7, Lenovo ThinkPad and a MacBook Air (M1) and it works well for all of them, including power charging. An HDMI screen, USB hub with webcam and headset are connected to the adapter. About the power: We have a power adapter (Apple or one from Anker) plugged into the wall socket, from there a USB-C cable goes into the Satechi adapter and the adapter is plugged into the laptop. So the power goes through the adapter into the laptop. Hope that was helpful ;)
