Here are some recommendations from Venum on its website:
Muay Thai shorts generally run small. The waist is tight while the legs are wide and short.
ATTENTION: the measurements shown correspond to the length of the product.
The elastic bands are very flexible: a margin of error of +/- 3cm in the measurement of your waist circumference is possible without impacting on the correct choice of your size.
For optimum comfort, we recommend that you choose two sizes above your usual size for classic shorts.
What should I do if I'm between sizes?
If you're between sizes, use your waist circumference as a reference.
If your measurement corresponds to an extreme value, choose the next size up for optimum comfort,
or the recommended size for tight shorts.
Example:
If your waist measurement is 81cm / 32 inches, the recommended size is XS.
Here's a tip:
- for a slightly fitted product, opt for S
- for a close-fitting product with a perfect fit, opt for XS
The waist is held in place by an elastic band: a margin of error of +/- 3cm in the measurement is possible without impacting on the choice of product size.
