Is it also possible to put the wheels in so that they face upwards to store them like this while cycling?
no; when cycling, the drawbar with the upward-folding drawbar wheel is in one of the two plug-in tubes - one of the two buggy wheels could probably be plugged in, but it doesn't make sense like that.
