I travelled through Africa for 6 months with this filter and didn't even have any stomach problems. The filter is very effective.

It's the most effective filter on the market, and as far as organic water is concerned, I'd say okay, chemical pollution is not a certainty. However, where there is a lot of pollution and therefore a lot of people, buy pure water.
