I operate the camera with a power supply unit. One time it records video and then again nothing, then only people but not animals (my cat walks past the camera x times). Does anyone have the same problem?

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me.
I used the camera as a surveillance camera to check if someone entered the room while I was away. It should have recorded me when I entered, but it didn't do so every third time.

The battery life of 6 months is also nonsense, the brand batteries were empty after 1 week.

The camera sometimes got very hot, for whatever reason, and crashed a lot. Switching it off did nothing, only removing the batteries for a longer time.

It is supposed to have 13MP, but the quality is worse than that of a 20-year-old mobile phone with 1MP.

Since the problem only occurred sporadically, I saved myself the trouble with the warranty repair and disposed of it after 2 months as good as new.

The camera is absolutely unusable!
