Question about Thule ezHitch

Hello everyone. What is the difference between this and a normal quick release? My bike has a quick release, do I need this one from Thule? Or is it enough if I buy the silver coupling piece separately? Thank you!

Due to the coupling piece, the quick release must be somewhat longer. I would therefore recommend buying the Thule ezHitch directly.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I can't find any information anywhere about how long the Thule quick release is. That seems to be a question from others as well. But to be on the safe side, I'll probably take this one too.
