Does this "bell" also work in the rain? The conventional bicycle bell has a massive loss of sound when the bell body is wet; as a result, the biker is hardly perceived acoustically (and this with correspondingly longer braking distances). Thank you.

I can't really tell you whether there is a difference between dry and wet. For me personally, the knog Oi is basically too quiet. So if volume is an important criterion, you won't be happy with this bell.
