Can this helmet also be used as a ski helmet?
A bicycle helmet must meet completely different requirements than a ski helmet. For example, the bicycle helmet must withstand the impact on a kerb, which should rarely be the case when skiing. In addition, the ventilation system of cycling helmets is designed for much warmer temperatures than ski helmets. The result would be a rapid cooling of the head.
Another point is that the shape of a ski helmet is designed in such a way that the ski goggles ideally fit exactly, so that there is no gap between the goggles and the helmet. There are also different "test standards" for what is approved as a ski helmet and what is approved as a bicycle helmet. We would recommend a proper ski helmet.
If you want to be well and comfortably protected, you should rather get a ski helmet and a bicycle helmet. The head in particular is a sensitive part of the body that needs especially good protection.
