Question about Denver WCT-8010 Wildlife camera

A few simple questions: What is the purpose of the mini USB port on the camera? Is it possible to transfer data without removing the card each time? And is there any way of connecting the camera to a large Yeti-type powerbank? If so, how do you go about it?

I gave this camera to my grandson as a gift and can therefore unfortunately
answer the question

The batteries last about 3/4 of a year in 3 photo and 30s video mode with an average of 1x triggering per night, not 3 months as described in the manual.

It says in the manual:
"The camera is in USB mode when connected to a USB port of a computer.
mode. In this case, the SD card is displayed as a removable drive".

I take the card and plug it into my PC
The batteries last a very long time
