This overtrousers has been designed for cruising in stormy weather. It is waterproof and breathable, made from lightweight fabric with adjustable leg length and a practical pocket.
After each use, rinse with clear water and store dry. Wash as little as possible to preserve the water-repellent coating. Wash inside out on a synthetic program (30 or 40 °C) with regular detergent, without fabric softener. Pay attention to reduced machine load and perform an additional rinse cycle. Allow to air dry.
To renew the water-repellent property, place in the tumble dryer for 10–15 minutes (synthetic program), inside out. The resistance of a fabric to water pressure is measured in mm water column (tested according to JIS standards). The higher the pressure, the more impermeable the fabric. Here are the waterproofing values: The material has a waterproof rating of 5,000 mm water column – average water pressure during a rain shower. The waterproofing of the trousers has been successfully tested for 2 hours at a precipitation rate of 60 l/m²/h.
The breathability of the material is measured by the RET test (Resistance of Evaporation of a Textile), which determines the water vapor transmission resistance of a textile (according to ISO 11092 standards). The lower the value, the more breathable the garment.
