Hubs + Freewheels

    Hubs + Freewheels

The hub is the centre of a wheel, which rotates on the wheel of a bicycle around an axle firmly clamped in the dropouts.

The essential components of a bicycle hub are axle, bearing and hub housing. Depending
on the design, the hub can be supplemented with additional elements such as brake or freewheel. The spokes are attached to the hub housing.
