The Zipp 454 NSW Tubeless for disc brakes is the ultimate wheelset for road racing. This wheel delivers everything that performance-oriented cyclists demand. It is aerodynamically efficient and stable in all wind conditions. Additionally, a wider rim has been designed for tubeless tires with lower pressure to reduce rolling resistance and vibration losses, allowing you to lose as little energy as possible on the go. We recommend a 28mm tire on this wheel to achieve the best combination of aerodynamics and rolling resistance. The wavy 58mm Sawtooth rim shape with Hyperfoils is our most aerodynamic and stable wheel. The 454 NSW features Zipp's Total System Efficiency (TSE), our approach to combating the biggest speed adversaries: air resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses. The use of hookless (straight) rims by Zipp in the 454 NSW is a key part of "Making You Faster." With hookless, the transition between tire and rim is smoother and more aerodynamic. Zipp's hookless rims have a more efficient resin distribution, resulting in lighter and stronger wheels. The 454 NSW is equipped with the race-ready ZR1 SL hub set with ceramic bearings and 66 engagement points. The hub set is also 30g lighter than the previous hub in the NSW wheels.
