Drirelease fabric: The term drirelease refers to a group of functional fibers used in leisure and sports clothing. Hydrophobic (water-repellent) and hydrophilic fibers (those that absorb water well) - typically 85% polyester and 15% cotton - are woven into a fabric that combines the benefits of both materials: drirelease quickly absorbs moisture and transports it away from the body. Drirelease dries up to four times faster than pure cotton fabrics. Furthermore, drirelease noticeably cools the body due to its high evaporation activity. Drirelease shirts do not look like typical functional textiles and come very close to the look of a casual T-shirt. Therefore, these comfortable and dry-wearing shirts are not only popular for cycling.
