Product details

The XLC CL-D05 is a high-quality front light for e-bikes, offering a powerful light output of 70 Lux. The light can be connected to a wide range of 6-48 V power sources and features a StVZO-approved beam that effectively illuminates the road without dazzling other road users. The 70 Lux lamp is an excellent upgrade compared to the standard lighting typically found on most e-bikes.

According to the law, bicycles must be equipped with lights during twilight and darkness. It is also sensible to use a light on the bicycle, as drivers can perceive a lit bicycle in time. During twilight and darkness, the bicycle must be equipped with a light that emits white or bright yellow light in the direction of travel. Since January 1, 2015, it has also been permitted to use a comparable light attached to the cyclist, such as a headlamp, instead of a permanently mounted light on the bicycle. As of June 1, 2020, a red rear light must also be present on the bicycle when riding in twilight and darkness. Orange or white spoke reflectors or reflective tire tape enhance visibility.
