X-Bionic Winter Sphere Wind Jacket light

The SphereWind jacket concept - windproof at the front, high-tech knit at the back - has proven itself over the past few years. Now, X-BIONIC has developed a new material for the membrane area. This is significantly lighter but has an impressive weight-to-heat ratio. This is achieved thanks to the three-dimensional structured interior, which can store a thin layer of air within the structure. The wind protection is provided by the integrated symbionic membrane, which won the Future Material Award 2014. Unlike conventional membranes, this closed membrane can transport moisture even in droplet form. The 3D-BionicSphere system at the back ensures optimal ventilation inside the jacket during high activity. During rest periods, warm air is stored in the channels of the 3D Bionic Sphere System, providing insulation against the cold.
