We have developed this back protector for skiers, snowboarders, and mountain bikers so they can ride injury-free all year round. The flexible, lightweight back protector does not shift and is barely noticeable. It protects against injuries without compromising on style. It can be attached to the SNB 900 jacket with a zipper.

The regulation (EU) 2016/425 is a directive that applies to protective clothing. Impact absorption tests are conducted for this back protection in accordance with standard EN1621-2 Level 1. This back protector was tested by Liam Tourki, a member of the French freestyle team in the halfpipe, at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Here is an overview of the size recommendations for the protector vest based on chest circumference (body height is also provided as a reference):
Chest circumference:
Size S = 87 to 93 cm (approximately 166 to 172 cm)
Size M = 83 to 99 cm (approximately 172 to 177 cm)
Size L = 99 to 107 cm (approximately 177 to 183 cm)
Size XL = 107 to 117 cm (approximately 183 to 192 cm)
Size XXL = 117 to 127 cm (approximately over 192 cm)

The protective material reacts to cold and becomes hard after a while. However, body heat or a heated room will soften it again.
