The Air-Liner is a high-quality polymer insert that replaces a portion of the air volume in the tire. This feature, combined with its shape, provides a tunable system that enhances your driving performance. The Air-Liner eliminates the traditional compromise between stability and grip, allowing you to maintain stability, traction, and control in tires even at low pressure. The Air-Liner has a round cross-section with channels on the top and bottom. The upper channel accommodates the adjustable air chamber, which is positioned directly beneath the tire's tread. Upon impact, the corner edges of the channel bend first and then become progressively thicker as the tire compresses. This keeps the tread flexible, increasing traction without compromising impact resistance. The lower channel allows for easy fine-tuning of the air chamber and ensures full compatibility with all valve insert types. The round cross-section mimics the tire's natural shape and supports a larger contact area within the sidewalls of the tire casing. This increases the tire's stability from side to side while keeping the tread soft and grippy. It improves cornering behavior, climbing ability, and braking performance. Both the wheel and the tire are protected by the Air-Liner insert. By absorbing shocks from within the tire, your expensive rim remains protected, while flat spots caused by rim strikes are avoided. This highly durable polymer material has been tested for an expected lifespan of 2000 hours under normal driving conditions or 1 full hour during a descent with emergency running properties under a typical driver.
