Product details
Speed Aluminium Die Speed Aluminium wheels are the perfect entry into the world of high-profile rims. Ultra-stable with an acceptable weight. Excellent braking properties combined with a corresponding appearance make this series the most popular eye-catcher. Available in a wide Tubeless-Ready version starting in 2018.
Speed AL TR The Veltec SPEED AL TR wheelset has the same rim height of 42 mm as the SPEED AL. However, the SPEED AL TR features a significantly wider inner width of 16 mm and is optimally prepared for Tubeless-Ready use with a modified rim bed. The wheelset is built with industrially sealed Veltec 818RS hubs, available in black or white. Sapim CX-Sprint bladed spokes and Sapim aluminum double square nipples serve as the connecting elements between the hub and rim. The black matte brushed surface of the SPEED AL TR ensures a high-quality overall appearance on any bike. The wheelset weighs 1830 g and is only 20 g heavier than the SPEED AL despite the wider rim. Of course, the SPEED AL TR also has UCI approval.
