The Velo Orange Left Bank handlebar is 49 cm wide, 7 cm wider than a traditional French handlebar, yet still narrower than a British or American handlebar. The grips angle slightly outward, appealing to less reserved riders. Given its radical design, it can only be called the "Left Bank" handlebar, named after this neighborhood in Paris, in the Quartier Latin on the left bank of the Seine, historically inhabited by students and leftist philosophers.
