The main material is breathable, quick-drying, and very durable, making it resource-efficient and long-lasting. A certified mass balance process is used in the production of these women's bike shorts, where pyrolysis oil is obtained from old tires and fed into conventional polyamide production. This chemical recycling saves up to 60% CO2. Additionally, this product is climate-neutral: emissions from materials, the manufacturing process, and shipping have been comprehensively assessed and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions have been fully compensated through the independent non-profit organization myclimate.
