Vaude Larice Light III

The Women's Larice Light Pants III by Vaude is a lightweight softshell pant designed for sporty ski tours. What sets these pants apart is the combination of three different fabric types. The upper part of the pants, up to the calves, is made from two stretchy and lightweight materials, while the lower section features a strip of abrasion-resistant, elastic Cordura material at the hem. This design significantly enhances the durability of the pants. Even when using crampons, the pants remain intact, making them ideal for mountaineering. The hem can be opened with a zipper, allowing the pants to fit over wider ski boots, preventing snow from entering the boots while powder skiing. Reflective elements on the pants contribute to overall safety. The elastic waistband and adjustable width ensure a comfortable and secure fit around the hips. Pre-shaped knees enhance freedom of movement and increase comfort. If it gets too warm during the ascent, the side of the pants can be unzipped for better ventilation, helping to regulate temperature. Additionally, there is a front pocket sewn into the pants, which is practical for storing a phone, energy bars, and more. The pants are 80% windproof, breathable, water-repellent, have an athletic cut, and are very elastic, all while being climate-neutral.
