The Women's Larice Light Pants III from Vaude is a lightweight women's softshell pant designed for sporty ski tours. What sets these pants apart is the combination of three different fabrics. The pants are made from two stretchy and lightweight materials up to the calves, while the lower part features a strip of abrasion-resistant, elastic Cordura material at the hem. This makes the pants much more durable. Even when using crampons, the pants remain intact, making them ideal for mountaineering. The hem can be opened with a zipper, allowing the pants to fit over wider ski boots, preventing snow from getting inside during powder runs. Reflective elements on the pants enhance overall safety. The elastic waistband and adjustable width ensure a comfortable and secure fit on the hips. The pre-shaped knees provide increased freedom of movement and enhance comfort. If it gets too warm during the ascent, the sides of the pants can be unzipped for better ventilation, helping to regulate temperature. Additionally, there is a front pocket sewn into the pants, which is practical for storing a phone, energy bars, and more. They are 80% windproof, breathable, water-repellent, have an athletic cut, and are highly elastic, all while being climate-neutral.
