The Women's Larice Light Pants III from Vaude is a lightweight softshell pant designed for sporty ski tours. What makes these pants special is their construction using three different types of fabric. The pants are made from two stretchy and lightweight materials up to the calves, while the lower part features a strip of abrasion-resistant, elastic Cordura material for added durability. This ensures the pants are much more long-lasting. Even when using crampons, the pants remain intact, making them ideal for mountaineering. The leg openings can be unzipped, allowing the pants to fit over wider ski boots, preventing snow from entering the boots while powder skiing. Reflective elements on the pants enhance overall safety. The elastic waistband and adjustable width ensure a comfortable and secure fit on the hips. The pre-shaped knees enhance freedom of movement and increase comfort. If it gets too warm during ascents, the sides of the pants can be unzipped for better ventilation to help regulate temperature. Additionally, there is a front pocket sewn into the pants, which is practical for storing a phone, energy bars, and more. The pants are 80% windproof, breathable, water-repellent, feature an athletic cut, and are highly elastic, all while being climate-neutral.
