Vaude products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly and water-repellent without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs are a group of chemical compounds used for the impregnation of outer fabrics in many outdoor products. They have come under criticism for being non-biodegradable, accumulating in the body, and being suspected of being harmful to health. Vaude has made a clear commitment to completely eliminate PFCs.

With the Green Shape label, Vaude offers functional, environmentally friendly products made from sustainable materials. Fair working conditions throughout the entire supply chain are prioritized during production. The criteria for assessment are strict and transparent.
