Rain protection made easy. The rain jacket, crafted from bluesign-certified material, is feather-light and compact for packing. Featuring Drop-Stop technology, the breathable Ceplex active fabric effectively repels raindrops. Vaude products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly and water-repellent, manufactured without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs are chemical compounds used to treat the outer fabric of many outdoor products, but they are non-degradable, accumulate in the body, and are suspected of being harmful to health. Vaude is committed to completely eliminating PFCs.
Safety features include reflective elements on the front and back. This hardshell jacket runs true to size and is intended for road and MTB racing. It has a close-fitting cut and weighs 169 g. Additional details include pre-shaped sleeves, a sporty cut, breathable zones, partial padding, stretch inserts, water-repellent zones, Lycra cuffs at the wrist, and a high stand-up collar.
Functionally, it is wind-repellent with a water column rating of 10,000 mm and features a 2.5-layer construction. The outer material is 100% polyamide, while the coating is 100% polyurethane. It boasts a PFC-free coating (Durable Water Repellent). The water-repellent front zipper includes an under-vent, and there is a chest pocket with a zipper.
