Vaude products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly and water-repellent without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs are a group of chemical compounds used in many outdoor products for fabric waterproofing. They have come under scrutiny for being non-biodegradable, accumulating in the body, and being suspected of being harmful to health. Vaude has made a clear commitment to completely eliminate PFCs.
