Vaude products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly and water-repellent without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds used for the impregnation of the outer fabric in many outdoor products. They have come under scrutiny for being non-biodegradable, accumulating in the body, and being suspected of being harmful to health.
