The AM MOAB MID WINTER STX offers everything a warm flat pedal shoe must have. Performance, extra grip and protection. The waterproof, mid-cut flat pedal shoe made of high-quality and robust leather from Terracare is absolutely waterproof and breathable with its membrane sock construction of the upper. In addition, the environmentally friendly, highly functional Primaloft® Eco Gold insulation keeps the foot warm and dry even on icy days. The mid-high shaft provides a perfect fit in combination with conventional lacing and a Velcro fastener. The stable fit is rounded off by the anatomically pre-shaped Ortholite® insole, which ensures optimum power transmission thanks to the harder PU foam in the pedal area. Reinforced toe and heel caps offer further protection against impacts and stones. Additional comfort and protection is provided by the EVA midsole, which has a cushioning element incorporated in the heel area. The AM Flat sole with its graduated hexagonal profile in the pedal area in combination with the soft SUPtraction® Flat rubber compound ensures perfect grip on the pedal and lots of riding fun. In the toe and heel area, the sole has a deeper tread that provides the necessary grip in carrying and pushing passages. The certified Terracare® leather comes from German production and was manufactured in a particularly environmentally friendly way. The comfortable Ortholite® insole is made from environmentally friendly Eco Plush PU foam and 50% recycled polyester. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable materials.
