The RCR (Racer) is the most powerful shoe in the Van Rysel range. It has been designed for the most demanding racers and touring cyclists. The RCR features excellent grip thanks to the habu® Fit System Li2, a comfortable inner shoe, and very stiff, ventilated 100% carbon soles. Developed in collaboration with professional cyclists and worn by them. The width of the forefoot has been increased by 3 mm for added comfort. The shaft of the RCR ensures an even fit due to the asymmetrical closure system and prevents pressure points by using textile straps instead of plastic laces. The RCR has a new, 100% carbon and extremely stiff outsole for better power transfer to the bike (stiffness rating of 12 on a scale of 1 to 12). The outsole features two large ventilation openings at the toe and midfoot to promote air circulation for temperature regulation. The habu® Fit System offers excellent grip thanks to micrometric adjustability and is designed for peak performance in the toughest conditions. The RCR, equipped with the habu® Fit System and two Li2 closures, wraps around a larger foot area with extreme precision, resulting in outstanding grip and increased comfort.
