Tune SpeedNeedle

The Speedneedle by Jürgen Mikus offers the same seating comfort as a good standard saddle but is significantly lighter. Due to the bending of the saddle shell and the give of the seat padding, normal saddles can press on the perineum area, which is not the case with rigid saddles like the Speedneedle. The result is better blood circulation and no numbness. Additionally, the cut-out padding in the perineum area prevents numbness. Since 2007, the Speedneedle has been delivered with a revised frame. The new carbon-aramid mix allows for the omission of an additional wrap. The Speedneedle frame has a large clamping area, making it compatible with straight seat posts on almost all bikes. CC European Champion Sabine Spitz and downhill champion Marcus Klausmann are both enthusiastic about the Speedneedle.
