As a V2, it features a completely newly developed mesh upper with excellent ventilation and a fine microfiber support structure. The ZipFoam midsole, now increased to 33/28 mm, is made from a newly developed composite material of TPU and EVA, offering various hardness levels. In the rear third, the Phantom 2 has a softcore insert. The special feature of ZipFoam is its extremely low memory effect throughout the shoe's lifespan, combined with significant weight advantages, pleasant agility during runs, and a noticeable flex point between the midfoot and forefoot. The newly developed lightweight outsole for the Phantom 2 provides excellent grip while being highly durable.
