Product details
Every day, millions of mountain bikers hit the trails to do what they love. Along the way, they are likely to encounter other bikers, hikers, horses, and wildlife. Unfortunately, until now, there hasn't been an effective way to make your presence known. Enter Timber, the first bike bell designed exclusively for mountain biking. The design is inspired by the iconic cowbell but has been adapted for a more modern look. A simple on/off lever controls the internal clapper. Push it down to turn it off, or set it in the middle for a quieter tone. The movement of the bike activates the sound. Since the sound is passive, you announce yourself with a friendly "Hey, just letting you know I'm here." This advance notice gives hikers or oncoming riders time to find a safe spot to step off the trail. The bell comes with two separate O-rings to fit all handlebar sizes. It features a sleek black finish. The solid brass sound chamber produces a clear, clean tone.
