The Agate S Mid GTX is designed for fast hikes and the exploration of all types of technical mountain terrain, constructed with women's specific foot physiology in mind. It combines comfort, stability, and weather-resistant flexibility in a cool, lightweight, mid-height protective design. The Agate Mid is the result of our Women2Women focus group. We employ a gender-specific design process to provide a dedicated solution for female athletes and outdoor enthusiasts: a women-specific fit based on a women-specific last that ensures immediate comfort. This lightweight and versatile mid-height shoe is easy to wear and offers consistent grip on rocky technical trails, while also adapting well to more urban scenarios. The lightweight and durable midsole with Impulso EVA technology and Pebax elastomer insert provides enhanced cushioning and rebound, especially during descents - as validated by the CeRiSM Institute. Targeted flex points in the sole improve flexibility and help utilize the natural rolling motion of the foot. An arch support and the dedicated support band in the upper contribute to a snug fit and increased stability. The soft Lycra collar wraps around the ankle, providing flexibility and mobility.
