Team Wendy CAM FIT™ Retention System

The CAM FIT™ Retention System is a retention or harness system designed for CAM FIT™ Combat Helmets. It is a sophisticated holding system that enhances the comfort and reliability of the tactical helmet and is optimized for professional use.

The Boa® Fit System is responsible for achieving the perfect fit, balancing and stabilizing the weight of the helmet by evenly distributing pressure on the head. The adjustment strap and chin cup allow the helmet to be fitted snugly while still being comfortable to wear and conforming to the face.

Often, the buckle in helmet closure systems can be problematic, as it can pinch or press against the chin, making it difficult to ensure an optimal fit. This is not the case with the CAM FIT™ Retention System, which features an asymmetrical design that conforms along the jawline while remaining smooth and stretched.

The CAM FIT™ retention system uses a Cam Lock slider for closure, which further optimizes the fit and can be operated with one hand. The chin cup lining provides maximum comfort without friction, regardless of how hot or cold it gets.

An extra feature of the CAM FIT™ retention system is that it is also available in a LED option (Left Eye Dominant). Typically, the CAM FIT™ retention system comes with a left-side release buckle, as this provides a significantly more comfortable wearing position for shooters with right-eye dominance. The LED option of the helmet retention system reverses this positioning: the LED option moves the buckle to the right side of the face for shooters with left-eye dominance.

Of course, the ballistic hardware is included with all CAM FIT™ retention systems. The included hardware may not be compatible with side rails.
