We assess grip on floors with different dust levels (in the lab and under realistic conditions) as well as abrasion resistance. Children will also be thrilled to wear shoes featuring the logo of their favorite NBA team. To properly select a basketball shoe, consider the following: 1. Determine the child's playing level and frequency. 2. Can the child tie their shoes independently? 3. Choose the right shaft height: covered or uncovered ankle area?
We recommend trying on the shoe before the first practice and selecting the child's usual shoe size for basketball. There should be about 1 cm of space between the toe and the shoe's tip, as the foot's volume and length can slightly increase during movement. Wearing special basketball socks reduces friction on particularly stressed areas.
