Disc RS has a powerful braking performance and offers a balance of performance characteristics that are important for racers and everyday drivers and is extremely quiet in all conditions. The compound is silent in wet, dry, snow and ice conditions and the 1.6 mm thick steel alloy backing plate saves weight compared to traditional designs, but still has the favourable thermal properties, strength and stability of steel.The thinner backing plate is equipped with additional pad compound and thus extends the service life of the disc pad. The Disc RS offers a balanced combination of braking performance, service life and extremely low noise under all conditions. This finely tuned pad compound offers an optimum riding experience compared to other brake pads.
