Based on a groundbreaking single carbon crankset and seamlessly integrated components, the SRAM 1X drivetrain offers flawless chain management and faster, more precise shifting. The relationship between the XX1 components goes beyond simple tuning. From the X-HORIZON derailleur with TYPE 2 technology to the 11-speed cassette with an exceptionally wide gear range of 10-42 teeth, each component is designed to work perfectly with the others to achieve what no other single drivetrain has accomplished. The XX1 chain represents the greatest breakthrough in a long line of precise, lightweight chains from SRAM. It is engineered to provide maximum power and reliability to a drivetrain that does not require compromises for a front derailleur. The HollowPin construction allows for smooth, precise shifting while minimizing weight without sacrificing strength. It features a PowerLock closure for tool-free installation.
