Sram X01 Eagle AXS

This is a completely new rear derailleur designed specifically for operation with a motor and not a cable. The AXS™ controlled components allow additional customization to the needs and requirements of the rider with the AXS™ app. It has a 10mm shorter shift cage, sits further forward and further inboard than the mechanical Eagle™, providing better cassette wrap in addition to more ground clearance. The Eagle AXS™ rear derailleur is smart enough to protect itself from damage by the incredibly resistant Overload Clutch. In the event of a blow to the AXS™ rear derailleur, the motor gearbox decouples and allows the rear derailleur to swerve. Immediately thereafter, it returns to its original position for an unclouded and uninterrupted riding experience. The system meets the IP69K standard for water and dust resistance so that neither stream crossings and mud packs, nor washing with a pressure washer can harm him.
