Cage Lock
Thanks to the Cage Lock technology in the derailleur, removing and installing the rear wheel as well as chain installation is faster and easier than ever. Simply push the cage forward to release the chain tension and lock it in place.

Roller Bearing Clutch
The Type 2 derailleur was designed for the X0 and X9 product families and offers maximum drive stability – even on challenging terrain. With Roller Bearing Clutch technology, the SRAM Type 2 puts an end to wobbling derailleurs and clattering chains – without sacrificing precision.

X-Actuation
The X-Actuation technology, specifically developed for SRAM 1X, ensures precise and consistent shifting across the entire 10-42 tooth cassette.

X-Horizon
The parallelogram design of this derailleur limits movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating so-called "ghost shifting" while simultaneously reducing shifting force. The large offset of the upper jockey wheel ensures a constant chain distance in every gear for faster and more accurate shifts.

X-Sync
SRAM's X-Sync 1X chainrings deliver top performance and durability. The long SRAM X-Sync tooth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile, along with the rounded angled edges, support chain guiding. To provide optimal performance even in muddy terrain, the X-Sync chainrings feature recesses for clearing dirt and mud from the inner chain links and rollers. The X-Sync chainrings, made in Germany, are a crucial component of SRAM's 1X drivetrain.
