Conventional click pedals force the feet into an almost parallel position. The extended axle of the SQlab 502 click pedal allows for a more physiologically natural foot position. This prevents unilateral strain, particularly in cases of fibular head syndrome. Unilateral click pedals for trekking bikes are available in four different lengths. The version with a shorter axle is suitable for smaller shoe sizes and a smaller sit bone distance, thereby reducing the so-called Q-factor.
